DOTA Game Mechanics
A. Registration:
     If you dont have a team we will provide you a team so Register 
     now..


  • NOTE:  Each team must have a max of five (5) players before they can register, there one (1) player that will serve as the teams’ substitute.
  • Each player of each Team is required to pay one hundred pesos (Php100.00) as game/practice time for this game. 
  • The Php100 includes 2 hours of game.
  • Registered teams CAN ONLY PLAY at one .
  • NASIR will provide all the game schedules and team matches on its website http://www.facebook.com/pages/Dasma-Nasir-Comp-Shop/157789547616541.
B. Game Settings/Requirements:
  • Version: Warcraft III Frozen Throne expansion set v.1.24e
  • Map: DOTA ver. 6.69c (latest stable map in getdota.com)
  • All matches will be done using LAN connection. Use of Garena will be decided by Netopia depending on the distance of one team to another
C. Mechanics:
1. Elimination Rounds  (BRANCH ELIMINATION)
    • Every team is requested to be in the branch thirty (30) minutes before the scheduled match. The team/s will be given a 5-10 minutes PC warm up.

    • Every match will start with a toss coin to know which team will have their first pick.

    • In this round, all participating branches from different regions (Dasmarinas) will compete.

    • Per branch is expected to gather at least eighty (80) players per branch or a maximum of sixteen (16) teams.
    • As mentioned, each team must have a max of five (5) players plus one (1) as substitute.
    • Team must choose a team captain. The team captain’s role is to ensure that his/her team members has chosen the correct characters before they could proceed to any match. He/she must also be responsible in saving the team’s game.
    • Every match is a best of three (3) games, which means a team must gain at least two (2) wins from their opponent before they could proceed to the next match.
    • This round is a one-time elimination, so teams must work hard to win every match they encounter. At the end, only ONE TEAM PER BRANCH will be named as the “Nasir DOTA Home Team Champion”.
    • The team will then be privileged to compete on the area eliminations (within the area, i.e. Q.C-Cubao, Mandaluyong and etc.).
2. Semi-final Rounds (AREA ELIMINATION)
    • Same with the elimination round, every team is requested to be in the branch thirty 30 minutes before the scheduled match. The team/s will be given a 5-10 minutes PC warm up.
    • Every match will start with a toss coin to know which team will have their first pick.
    • The winning teams from the branch elimination will be gathered in one branch within the area and will have the chance to battle with other Netopia DOTA Home Champs from different areas (i.e. Q.C, Cubao, Mandaluyong, etc).
    • Same with the elimination round, this is best of three (3) games. So, the first team to obtain two (2) wins will be proclaimed winner and will proceed to the next round.
    • Only one (1) team per area will be recognized as the Area Champs.
    • This round is a one-time elimination, so teams must work hard to win every match they will have. At the end, only ONE TEAM PER AREA will be named as the “Netopia Area Champion”.
    • The team then has the privilege to represent their region on the DOTA Grand Finals and will compete with the other Regional Champs from NCR, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
3. Grand Finals
    • Same with the elimination round, every team is requested to be in the branch 30 minutes before the scheduled match. The team/s will be given a 5-10 minutes PC warm up.
    • Every match will start with a toss coin to know which team will have their first pick.

D. NASIR ROLES:
  • A Game Master/ referee will be present in every branch during the Elimination and Semi final rounds in the branch and area. He will also serve as the game’s decision maker
  • Teams should be in the match venue 30 minutes before the agreed time to test connections and do the bans/picks.
  • A team receives a def win in the case of their opponents not showing up 20 minutes AFTER the scheduled time. In this case, the other opposing team can claim the win for the match.
  • Any team exhibiting unruly conduct DURING and AFTER the tournament will automatically be disqualified, handing the opposing team the match.
  • Game Masters’ (GM)/officials in the tourney will always have the final decision for every match.
  • The organizer will not be held responsible for any losses occurred due to any kind of disconnection, unable to login or PC auto restart. Event will proceed as scheduled.
  • The organizer reserves the right to terminate, change and or modify the events’ rules and regulation of any kind without prior notice or obligation.
E. GAME RULES:

  • Backdooring is NOT allowed.
  • It is not allowed to suicide to pass the Rapier.
  • Each team can only use ONE of each kind of the following items.
    • Guinsoo 
    • Orchid Malevolence
    • Necronomicon
    • Eul’s Scepter
    • Arcane Ring
    • Mekanism
  • The following actions are NOT ALLOWED for it is considered as an abuse and exploitation in the game:
    • Pause/resume of the game: maximum of 3 minutes will be given to a team to pause at the beginning of the game for tunneling the host and to wait for everyone to arrive (Applicable for GARENA gaming ONLY).
    • If 3 minutes time passed, then the player must resume and do the hero drafts. From this point on pausing without any valid reason is NOT allowed. Resuming the game without the other team confirming that they are ready is NOT allowed either.
  • Creep blocking (Warning or Game Loss):
    • Creep blocking is NOT ALLOWED. However, creep slowing/delaying or luring is ALLOWED.
    • It is also NOT ALLOWED to block creeps with the help of spells such as fissure of , sprout and the like. Same rule applies to Base Entrance blocking.
    • It is only ALLOWED to use the hero model to intercept with creeps (accidental blocks are okay, as long as the fissure (Raigor Stone Holf or ES earth shaker) is directed at an opposing hero).
  • Bugs exploitation (Warning, Game Loss or Disqualification)
    • No Exploitation of any known old or new bug discovered during game play.
    • Participants who experience any abnormal game play are advised and MUST immediately inform the game facilitator or Game Master/s.
    • NOTE: BUGS refers to anything abnormal which will cause interruption/fatal error to the game that will give a player/team an unfair advantage.
  • Intentionally trapping enemies into trees or holes
  • Any warkeys/Dotakeys is allowed to be used during the tournament.
  • Teams on board are encouraged to save their games frequently during a match in order to compensate for disconnections (every 5 – 10 minutes).
  • In case save was not done after the ban/pick process: teams must take a screen shot with open scoreboard or save the replay, the match has then to be remade in-app. mode with the same heroes/lanes.
  • Both teams have the right to request a save after big team collisions and when at least one building was destroyed.
  • After a remake all players have to pick the same heroes as before, buy the same items and must go to the same starting lane. On initial creep contact, the players may change their lanes.
  • It is ALLOWED to use a disconnected hero, but it is NOT ALLOWED to give his items to other players. The items may either stay with the disconnected hero, or be sold. The money will then be distributed or allocated among the remaining players. Consumables are allowed to be used.
  • Another option for DC player/s is to save its game in a different file name for backup purposes. However,  if in case the saved file fails to be loaded, GM will have all the right to decide whether to remake the game or not.
  • One hour and twenty minutes (1:20) will be the maximum time for every match. If in case a match extends and go beyond the given limit time, we will let the Game Master (GM) decide on who will be the winner.
  • NOTE: Game Masters' decisions are final.
  • In cases like this, the following will be used as basis for the GM’s proclamation of winner/s
    • Winning team must have destroyed a large number of its opponent’s towers.
    • The sum of the total kills of the team
