| More Info | Last year, we introduced KPOP and Culture Fest. And it hit success and became the FIRST EVER Korean Pop Music, Fashion, Culture and Fan Gathering event in the Philippines that gathered almost 5,000 attendees, filling SM Megatrade Hall 1 to capacity. This year, KFEST Manila Events Management, in partnership with the Megatrade Hall, invites you to be part of ‘The Second Annual KPOP and Culture Fest’. This is in celebration of Filipinos' fandom to Korean Pop Culture. And this time, the Festival will be much bigger as it sets to make waves at the Megatrade Hall 2, 5th Flr., Bldg. B, SM Megamall. The event will start from 10:00AM and will end at 9:00PM, happening on July 31, 2011 (Sunday). EXPERIENCE 11 HOURS LONG OF HALLYU FESTIVAL! Event Highlights: KFEST IDOL 2 - Singing and Dancing Competition FAN CLUBS FANCHANT BATTLE - Passionate fans from Fan Clubs of different Kpop Groups will heat up the stage by creating unique cheers and chants for their idol groups! KFEST COSPLAY COMPETITION - Open to all participants who want to cosplay their favorite Kpop Artist/Idol, Korean Drama Actor, or Manhwa Character. K-OLLABORATION Dance Cover Contest - A new dance cover contest featured in KFEST 2. This will be a collaboration or a back-to-back performance of 2 different cover groups in one performance. Mini Contests: Uljjang Contest Rameon Eating Contest Korean Culture Trivia and Games Name That Korean Drama Actor On The Spot Kimchi Making Contest PLUS! Special performances from your hottest and favorite cover groups and a whole lot more! 'The Second Annual KPOP and Culture Fest' will surely be filled to the brim with exciting original activities in a colorful spectacle for enthusiasts of all ages that will surely spark their interest. It will showcase lots of contests and activities from Korean Culture, Fashion, Korean Movies, Drama Series, and Actors to Korean Pop Music Idols and Groups. KFEST COSPLAY COMPETITION is one of the event higlights for the upcoming The Second Annual KPOP and Culture Fest. Open to all Korean Pop Culture enthusiats who want to cosplay their favorite Kpop Artist/Idol, Korean Drama Actor, or Manhwa Character and is divided to 2 categories; Group and Solo
- Open to all interested participants, male and female.
- The contest is divided into 2 categories, Solo and Group
- Registration is extended and will be held online from July 9 - July 23

Rules and Regulations:
- It's a first come, first served basis. We will only accept 30 participants both for the Group and the Solo Category.
- Each participant will be given a minimum of thirty (30) seconds, maximum of one (1) minute stage time to do their cosplay skit. The sound crew will be instructed to turn down any music/bgm that will exceed from 1 minute. Please note that this is a Cosplay competition and not a Dance contest.
- Cosplayers under eighteen (18) years of age as of cosplay event date must have their parent/s and/or legal guardian/s sign the waiver/image release form which will be distributed at the event.
- Fanservice (ie. yaoi or boys' love, yuri, etc.) is allowed but should be “General Patronage”. Any kind of extreme kind of fanservice (ie. kissing, PDA, etc.) that is deemed inappropriate for minors are strictly prohibited. Keep in mind that The Second Annual KPOP and Culture Fest is a wholesome and a General Patronage event.
- Costumes that are too revealing (ie. exposes private parts) are prohibited. Scantly clad and/or sexy costumes are allowed but are not encouraged. KFEST team has the right to disqualify any participant on this ground.
- All kinds of costume props must be handled with utmost care and must not be harmful to his/her fellow cosplayers, event staff and event attendees. Any kind of sharp and/or bladed objects that will be used as costume props that could cut human flesh are strictly prohibited. Any kind of pyrotechnic equipment/s that will be used as costume props that could render damage to the venue and/or property is strictly prohibited.
- KFEST team will not be held responsible for damage or injury resulting from mishandling and/or negligence of a cosplayer in his/her use of props/materials throughout the duration of the event.
- Judges’ decisions are final and can’t be appealed.
- KFEST team reserve the right to disqualify any cosplayer who ignores and/or violates any of the aforementioned guidelines.
- Registration and participation to the cosplay event constitutes that the cosplayer gives the right and the authority to KFEST organizers/staff, its sponsors and authorized press media to take pictures and/or videos of registered cosplayers, cosplay groups and its members and will be the sole property of the organizers/staff, its sponsors and authorized press media to be used for future publications and/or advertising promotions.
- KFEST organizers and its staff and their relatives up to the 2nd degree of affinity or consanguinity are disqualified from participating in the cosplay competition.
- KPOP IDOL and KPOP Max Showdown Participants and Guest Performers are disqualified from participating in the cosplay competition.
- Backup dancers are allowed. No Maximum number.

To all K-OLLAB groups, hindi po kayo allowed magpalit ng ka-collab ninyo na hindi nag-register last June 26. Thank you.
