Cosplay Fever Philipphines, a Cosplay Company (under Crux Events Production) & Otaku University Philippines Online that brought you great cosplay events such as Cosplay Fever 2010, D’ JK Fever Technowave & SM City San Lazaro Cosplay Face Off, invites kids, chibi cosplayers, families in an Easter Sunday event with a twist that we will be calling as Alphaland Southgate: EASTER FAIR Acitivities Include Toys, Games, Bazaars, Gaming Booths, Mascots, Bazaars, Kiddie Costume Play Contest, Drawing Contest, Cartoon Egg Hunt and many more TICKET PRICES: PHP 50.00 GENERAL ADMISSION PHP 150.00 KIDS (CONSUMABLE) (INCLUSIVE OF BOTTLED WATER, FREE REGISTRATION ON KIDDIE COSTUME PLAY CONTEST, DRAWING CONTEST, GAMES, CARTOON EGG HUNT, 20 MINUTES OF COMPUTER GAME TIME) Event Details and Contest Mechanics below: Kiddie Costume Play Contest Mechanics 1. Alphaland Southgate Mall: Easter Fair Kiddie Cosplay is open to all kid attendees ages 5 – 12 years old. 2. Easter Fair Kiddie Cosplay will be an OPEN CATEGORY event where participants could cosplay any character that they want from any genre whether it's from an anime (eg. Naruto, Ghost Fighter) Cartoons (Spongebob, Ben 10, Batman, X – Men, Disney Princess Characters, Witch, Pirates, Fairies). 3. The INDIVIDUAL KIDDIE COSPLAY will be held on April 24, 2011, 1:00PM at the TENTS, Alphaland Southgate Mall 4. The individual kiddie cosplay registration will be on-site/at-con registration only which will be on April 24, 2011 from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM Only. 5. There will be an entry limit of 150 kiddie cosplayers for the Individual Cosplay. 6. Kiddie Cosplayers must have their parent/s and/or legal guardian/s sign the waiver/image release form which will be distributed at the event. 7. Costumes that are too revealing (ie. exposes private parts) are prohibited. Scantly clad and/or sexy costumes are allowed but are not encouraged. Alphaland Southgatemall: Easter Fair Kiddie Cosplay Team 2011 has the right to disqualify any participant on this ground. 8. All kinds of costume props must be handled with utmost care and must not be harmful to his/her fellow kiddie cosplayers, event staff and event attendees. Any kind of sharp and/or bladed objects that will be used as costume props that could cut human flesh are strictly prohibited. Any kind of pyrotechnic equipment/s that will be used as costume props that could render damage to the venue and/or property is strictly prohibited. 10. Easter Fair Kiddie Cosplay Organizers and its staff will not be held responsible for damage or injury resulting from mishandling and/or negligence of a cosplayer in his/her use of props/materials throughout the duration of the event. 11. Easter Fair Kiddie Cosplay judges’ decisions are final and can’t be appealed. 12. Easter Fair Kiddie Cosplay organizers reserve the right to disqualify any cosplayer who ignores and/or violates any of the aforementioned guidelines. 13. Registration and participation to the cosplay event constitutes that the kiddie cosplayer gives the right and the authority Easter Fair Kiddie Cosplay organizers/staff, its sponsors and authorized press media to take pictures and/or videos of registered kiddie cosplayers, cosplay groups and its members and will be the sole property of the organizers/staff, its sponsors and authorized press media to be used for future publications and/or advertising promotions. 14. Easter Fair Kiddie Cosplay organizers and its staff and their relatives up to the 2nd degree of affinity or consanguinity are disqualified from participating in the cosplay event. 15. Registered Kiddie Cosplayer must walk on the catwalk and perform a 15 seconder skit or trademark pose or lines of the character they are cosplaying. 16. Kids that will participate in the cosplay competition must buy the Php 150.00 event ticket =========================== Picture Reference Submission =========================== 1. Each kiddie cosplayer is required to submit a printed copy of the picture of the character that they’ll be cosplaying. Only printed pictures will be accepted. 2. All pictures must not go below 3 inches by 4 inches (wallet size) and must not go beyond 81/2 by 11 inches (short bond paper size). 3. It is highly recommended to submit a full-body colored picture of the character that would be cosplayed. We’ll accept black/white pictures, but you may be deducted points. PRIZES: 1. Best Male Kiddie Cosplayer = Php 1, 000.00 CASH PLUS TROPHY 2. Best Female Kiddie Cosplayer = Php 1, 000.00 CASH PLUS TROPHY NOTE: COSPLAYERS are also welcome to come to the event, we will be giving Php 500.00 each for best in costume for male and female cosplayer attendees.
