★★★MECHANICS★★★

➤The Cosplay competition is open to any cosplayer entering a costume based on (but not restricted to) Anime, Manga, Video Games, Movies, Comics, Novels and Toys.

➤Online Registration = registration.photoskwela2012@gmail.com a confirmation email will be sent to you and you can proceed to Hidalgo, Quiapo on October 27, 2012 at 11:30am for the Contest Registration. Cosplayers who want to join the workshop can arrive at 8:30am.

➤All Cosplayers who are registered and attending the event are also invited to joinJay Tablante Photography’s Workshop on photography which will start at 10am to 12nn.

➤The limit will be set at 50 contestants; loot bags with giveaways from the sponsors will be given to each contestant who will be on the event on October 27, 2012.

➤Cosplayers joining the competition will have a designated holding area.

➤The Cosplay contest will start at 1:30pm, and they will be given 1-2 minutes to perform their skit on stage.

➤It is up to the contestant if he/she wants to perform as, let their imagination run wild.

➤Please be reminded if you’re planning to use knives or blades, that they are not sharpened, we are strictly implementing SAFETY.

➤Contestants must prepare a 1-2 minute performance they can utilize the stage, microphone and bring props for the performance.

➤If you need the use of the Music kindly bring a copy of your music out it in a CD and label it as Name and contestant number (Will be given on the date of the event)

➤The contestant can bring an assistant on stage to help with the performance.

➤The awarding will go as follows 1st place 2nd place and 3rd place since this will be a free for all Cosplay Contest.

➤All of the Cosplayers who are registered are eligible to win.


➤Criteria for judging is as follows:

-Craftsmanship :40%
--How well-made is the costume?
--Quality of materials?
--Level of difficulty?
--Is it held together securely?

-Performance : 40%
--Is the performance in-line with the character’s persona?
--How well is it executed?
--Difficulty of performance?

-Audience Impact :20%
--How well did it appeal to the audience?

➤No messy substances. Contestants should not leave trash or materials hazardous to the next contestants. (Eg. Oil, powder and other substances that can make the floor slippery for the next user).

➤Assembly for the Cosplayers will be at : Hildalgo, Quiapo Event staff would help the Cosplayers proceed to their holding area.

➤Participants should be at the designated places following the schedule of activities. Latecomers will be disqualified.

➤Any photos taken during the event maybe use by Canon Martketing Philippines INC. — with Jay Tablante, True Blooded Alodians, The Alodia G. AirForce., Alodia Gosiengfiao, Alodia's Birthday Bash and The Alodia Navy.
