| More Info | Are you ready for an in-campus Otaku Experience with one of the hottest in-campus Otaku Culture group? Well you should definitely be ready because Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Sta. Mesa's Otaku Urule will be giving you one great experience you will never forget through thePUP Otaku Experience 2011. The event will be on March 4, 2011 from 12:00noon to 9:00pm at the PUP Freedom Plaza, PUP Sta. Mesa Manila. The PUP Otaku Xperience or OXP is a musical variety show aimed to reach out student and non-student fans of anime and japanese pop culture. The event functions also as the debut of the Otaku U Rule! a japanese oriented youth development organization. This event is also supported by Naruto Cosplayers PH (NCPH), Cosplay Network Philippines (CNPH) and other otaku and cosplay groups. The 3 hour show will feature the various talents of the current members of Otaku Urule through song and dance number. The Main attraction of the OXP is the individual cosplay presentation otherwise known as Cosplay Catwalk and JFashion ramp modeling by the PUP Runway top models. Some of the other activities include, the KPOP Dance Showdown and the different band JRock Band Performances. Many prizes await to everybody. This is event is free for everyone. Runway boasts a roaster of young and talented aspiring and professional models. The profile of the models includes modeling for some of the most prestegious events in the Philippines, like Ms. Philippines Earth, Bench Fashion Shows, Philippine Fashion Week and etc. ______________ JROCK BAND. The OXP organizing committee has invited a pool of JRock band performers from the otaku community that will render popular musical numbers for the delight of the audience. _______________ COSPLAY. As part of the tradition, guest cosplayers from the different schools and universities were invited to the invitational cosplay catwalk which is one of the highlight of the event. KPOP.The top 4 teams from the KPOP Dance Competition will be presenting to determine the OXP KPOP Champion OXP KPOP Dance Contest Mechanics 1. Contest is open to all PUP Students 2. Each team is composed of 5-10 members 3. Each team must submit copies of their PUP registration form to the organizer together with the the accomplished group registration form. 4. NO REGISTRATION FEE REQUIRED. 5. The song must be 3 - 6 minutes long or else points deduction will be applied. 6. Groups must send the copy of their song in CD format only and must submit it 1 day before the event. 7. There will be an elimination round to determine the top 4 contestants that will compete in the grand finals on March 4, 2011 8. Judges decision is final. 9. Human props are counted as part of the group. 10. If song is remixed the ratio should be 20% english and 80% KPOP. 11. THERE WILL BE CASH PRIZES FOR THE WINNERS 12. Crieria for Judging are as follows: 10 % Audience Impact 30 % Choreography 30 % Presentation 30 % KPOP XFactor 13. No same music will be allowed. 14. Registration is first come first serve. We are opening our doors to all exhibitors for our event with the following rates: 500 pesos of space rental for 1 day product selling whole day. 1 x 2 meters space (standard). 1 Table Security assistance Assistance from the organizers Promotion through the RTR Campaign for 1 Week prior to the event. Note: Should you wish to set-up your booth in the designated selling areas for 1 WEEK ( February 28-March 5, 2011) We would be more than happy to accomodate you. The Polytechnic University of the Philippines boasts its highly diversified market of over 30,000 students, with a moving traffic of students of 10-15 thousand Day Shift, Midshift and Night Shift. The Night Shift consists of over 7-10 thousand students daily. This is what makes PUP a perfect maketplace for your products and service. The requirements for setting up for a booth in PUP are as follows: 1. 500 pesos space rental fee which will be paid directly to PUP 2. Registration form 3.
